"The city of Las Vegas passed an ordinance in 2006 prohibiting dry camping in any parking areas." Yes, this is true, but the police don't bother you unless the property management complains. (The police COULD enforce this, but they DON'T.) Tips: After you park, get out and walk into the casino. Later (maybe after dinner or something), sneak back out to your RV, and get in (with as few people seeing you as possible). Then, leave your lights OFF-- (as if you are not in the RV). I full-timed in an RV for 7 years, and 3 of them in Las Vegas. Vegas is a great place to boondock, because of the low cost of food-- (the loss-leaders in the casinos.) If a casino has an RV park, they will chase you out or ask you to go to the RV park. If they don't have an RV park, then they usually "look the other way"-- but they can't if you have all your lights on at night with the generator and A/C running, etc. Some casinos will chase you out no matter what. The Orleans is a great casino, good buffet, some nice restaurants, and they have a theater upstairs with a video arcade for the kids.

I stay yesterday on the "The Orleans". It was very hot and very loud there, but you have enough place for your big RV.

Stayed here for 4 nights while attending conference at Mandalay Bay. The lot was full of RVs and tractor-trailers on Friday night. Security guards were very helpful and food court (north entrance, through parking structure) had good choices.

The city of Las Vegas passed an ordinance in 2006 prohibiting dry camping in any parking areas. Over night parking is only allowed in North Las Vegas, ie Flying J.
