Dry camping now $11, and electric is $19. This is NOT the place with free dry camping with a fuel fill.

The Gold Panner does have "free" camping with a fill-up, but with what you pay for gas over the other station (Downtown Chicken), you end up buying a "free" spot in a gravel pit for more than you can camp at the Chicken Gold Camp ($10 with amenities and free firewood). And the other amenities at the Goldpanner such as a dump, will cost you dearly. We paid for our education.

The Chicken Gold Panner is the one that has free overnight with fill-up it is down the hill from the "town." Very nice owners will take you on a private tour of the historic houses. Ask for Stretch.

Dry camping is $10 and electric sites are $15. Kayak trips start at $25 for 1/2 day trips down the Fortymile and Perdo Dredge; tours are $7.50. Recreational mining is being added in 2007. See more info at www.chickengold.com.

Would anyone know the latest price at this location? How about more details of kayaking or tours?
