Description
Located 10 minutes (five miles) outside of downtown Winslow. From Winslow, take Route 87 south to Highway 99 and turn left. Located along the waters of Clear Creek. Grills and restrooms are available, but there are no electric or water hookups at this time, so camping is free of charge.

Visited October, 2009, still free, clean with onsite resident park ranger. Has 5 paved, 5 gravel and 3 ramada areas for groups. No services, 14 day limit, swimming, fishing, boating, can see I-40 from high places, but no noise.

11/07 Many improvments to the camp grounds- You need to run the Clear creek to toward the head waters to see the great sites.

Visited park 7/6/06. Very dry at this time. On the campground side of the lake, there is only one porta potty as they have closed down all bathrooms. Unknown when they will reopen or if they will. There was only one 5th wheel camping when we arived. Good use for passing through and need to cool off in the lake.
