Description
This state forest has over 100 primitive campsites with water and pit toilets. There are over 100 lakes in the state forest - each offering fishing. Years ago the lakes were made by strip mining coal but today it's just beautiful lakes and state forest. Also, nearby are Minnehaha and Hillenbrand Federal Wildlife areas. And the Dugger fishing unit.

Indiana state record bluegill caught here. Linton a town nearby has some good restaurants. Water but no flush toilets. They have fancy out houses. They have water hook-ups so a hose could be used to take a shower.
