We at this moment have parked for the night at the welcome center I 70 heading EAST, Free wireless, a loop just for overnighters,QUIET, dump station, picnic tables, a few shade trees and 24 hour parking permitted; absolutely free and they offer FREE coffee at the welcome desk. Sept 10, 2008. They informed me all the rest areas on I 70 have this loop

Would recommend the rest stop on I-70 right past exit 95. It was very quiet and we got a good night's sleep.

Be careful with the water. It tasted funny and smelled bad. Not sure if it was drinkable water or gray water. Sewer was backed up and trash was blowing everywhere. Semi trailers were busy in and out; also several loud burly men drinking. Needless say, we didn't make this mistake again.

The rest areas along I-70 in Kansas vary with amenities. Some have a picnic loop RVers can park in overnight. This is mostly the western part of the state. Some have dump stations. I don't know about potable water. I have stayed at several in the western part of the state.
