As you exit the interstate, go south about a block, turn toward the Wal-Mart on your right, then turn left into the campground. You can pick any open spot - with or without hookups.

We stayed here on 6/21/2010. This is actually the county fairgrounds. Faribault County Fairgrounds. Can't beat it for free! Nice huge trees for shade. We stayed across from the bathrooms with electric only. Quiet, not many people around. The people we did run into were extremely friendly. Nice food co-op in town on Main St. They sell just about everything in bulk. Great place! Also a fairly nice grocery store on Main St also. Blue Earth's pool is only $4 a day.

Stayed here July 2009 in a 40' motor home with a tow vehicle. 48 hours free camping, then $5 per day. Some sites have electric and/or water. There were approx. 12 RV's there when we stayed. What a bargain! Nice green grass with small trees. Look for the Jolly Green Giant at the entrance and follow the signs for camping. Easy on/off from I-90.
