Free car wash or RV wash, free camping, free ride on houseboat. Beautiful scenery and the friendliest people I ever met. The salmon is the best I've ever eaten. There are huge portions with salad bar. Gift shop, laundry room, showers. I can't stop recommending this place to people. It's along the Alaska Highway about a day's drive from the Alaska/Canada border in the Yukon. Great place to eat and meet people from around the world.

Awww we ate at Mukluk Annies back in 90's and it was so good, those pancakes were massive and all you can hold..Its sad to see its gone we were gonna stop again this year. I think everyone has the right to their own opinion Colorade, I am sorry you let such a small thing spool your stay at Mukluks but they are good people for giving so many free stays to so many people over the years! Thank you.

Too bad it is closed. Was turned off by the Christian right wing crazy view. Canada's health care is the best in the world and the guy from Colorado is a dick for his comments on Canada. Stay home!

As of mid-June, 2009: CLOSED. (We passed it, not hearsay).

I stopped at Mukluk Annie's in 2003 when my 2 brothers and I camped B.C., YT, NWT, and Alaska. I'm so sorry that Mukluk Annie and Mukluk Chuck are no longer operating the campground and restaurant. I had looked forward to stopping there again in 2009 with my wife. Oh well... all good things seem to come to an end eventually.

Addition to my prior comment. The word from someone who went up there is that the owners retired, and the children were not interested in taking over the business. A son owns another (campground? Hotel?) and is going to take over the Salmon Bake.

Someone who posted in RVtravel.com said that the owners have now retired, and this is now closed and will not reopen.
