We have stayed in the parking lot behind the casino many times. When we were there on July 27, 2009, there were at least nine RV's parked in various parts of the lot. No one asked us to move. For the most part, the lot is level. As for the noise factor, park more toward the back of the lot. It's a good overnight or longer stop.

Not bad to overnight but just a few miles SOUTH is the Devil's Lake State Park. Beautiful, open all year, many different sites. http://www.devilslakewisconsin.com/

I checked with the security of HoChunk in Nov. & they said that they knew nothing about not allowing campers to stay overnite in their parking lot. The casino is not in the Dells but in Lake Delton.

Be aware that no place is Wisc Dells allows overnight boondocking(Ho Chunk is next door to W Dells). We had a cop come to our door & tell us to go to Ho Chunk as all the resort owners in W Dells got a policy passed against boondocking so you will have to stay in their expensive RV parks. Ho Chunk is great!

Ho Chunk Casino is OK for a short stop, but just a few miles north there is a good campground with great owners. $10.00 per day per person.

We stopped here expecting to pay to stay over night and were surprised to find there was no charge to dry camp. We did visit the casino as well as other places in the area. We were a little concerned about noise and sleeping, but didn't have any problem.

We live near here and if you visit, be sure to stop at Wisconsin Dells. Lots of touristy things to do. We enjoy the boat rides.
