Just bought a 'new to us' 34'Vectra and couldn't wait to try it out. We went to Spirit Mountain Casino to celebrate a friends B-day. We ate at the buffet...WOW! Fabulous seafood, prime meats and other eats for $18.95/person. We were able to save the $110/night(casino member discount price) we would have had to pay in the hotel. Wasn't aware of all the rules as I am brand new to the RV-life. I had heard it was free so we didn't check in at all but had no issues, only stayed one night. Were gambling until 3am and slept like a baby in the quiet ~ very large RV section. This time of year...plenty of space. Room for many many RV's and only about 10 or so were there. Great pull-throughs and very flat for parking. A great find for a visitor!

We stayed here one night in May 2009 and what a great Casino. Food wonderful... Felt very safe, the parking lot was packed with RV's We went down the road to Evergreen air & space museum and spent the day. What a great museum, for sure will be back.

Chinook Winds Casino now has an RV park also. It is located at the parking area at the end of the road, but it is nice with pullthroughs, electric, water and cable.

Grand Ronde is on Highway 18 west of I-5 on the way to Lincoln City (Pacific Ocean - Highway 101). You can reach there from Salem via Highway 22. I stayed there over the years and I did suggest to them to have a dump, and they now have one for free. They even have a day-care plus a game room for bigger kids. Adults get to play in the casino. We highly recommend the Spirit Mountain Casino for overnight RV parking (free up to 72 hours; longer with $200+/day gambling action). Nice buffet, nice grounds, lots of flowers (in August), nice RV spaces, very large casino. (Side note on Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City: We were referred elsewhere in town by them for overnight RV camping, although it did look like several others may have been camping there amid several "No RV Parking" signs).
