Fred Meyer is a huge, really nice Wal-Mart type store with great shopping that allows RVs to use a designated part of their parking lot.

The name of the city is Soldotna. The cost is free even for dumping and fresh water. Ask to limit your stay to 3 days but have stayed longer when not crowded.

Great place to stay to fish and sightsee. If you stop there, tell the attendant that Frank from New Jersey said "Hi."

Previous comment on noise was by dump and water. Much quieter on other side of store, but somewhat harder to level.

Very friendly. An employee helps you with questions and helps with parking. Very busy and noisy at night. 3 days allowed; also free dump and water.

Stayed in 2001. They allowed you to stay up to 3 days! Great base for day trips. Spent as much money as possible in their store in appreciation of their policy.

The city is Soldotna, not Soldatna. This is in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula where one can find great salmon fishing.

Stayed there. Great. Curbs are marked on the other side of building for parking. On the other side they also have water and dump!
