Have been going down there for 10-12 years 4-6 times a year and love it,but have noticed a decline of maintenance in the past few years.Probably due to lack of funds and or equipment. We are always sure to leave our payment in the box as it is cheap enough that if you stay 5 days its only 25 bucks(come on pay up).The outhouse leaves a little to be desired as I think the only cleaning it gets is from the flood. Also lately the electric(2 years)is hit and miss, sometimes it works and sometimes......Anyway still a great place to get away with out going to far or spending a lot of cash for a few days of camping. Its lack of noise and traffic, beautiful oak trees, catfishing, abundance of firewood and open spaces for frisbee, softball, volleyball or horseshoes and just the over all beautiful ND scenery makes this a yearly destination

My husband and I have camped here two or three times. Nice campgrounds with fire pits to grill on. Would recommend to friends and travelers. Very peaceful, quiet and dark. Don't remember when we stayed but it's been a while.

We stayed there August of 2006. Well maintained grass, 30 amp, central water location, no dump. Very quiet and fishing for catfish is possible from shore. $5.00 night.
